Two figures are shown. The given graph shows information about the number of overseas visitors travelling to Australia in millions of people. Overall, the trend is Australia became more popular as a destination spot, for example, there were 20 million more visitors to Australia in 2005 than in 1975. That’s a jump from 10 million to 30 million in 20 years.

The second table gives statistics showing the counties whose residents went to Australia between 1975 and 2005. In both year it didn’t change; the largest number of visitors came from japan, followed by south Korea and Europe, Britain, the united states then china also had many people visiting Australia in these years. For example, in 2005, 9 million people went there from south Korea compared with 2.94 in 1975.

In the end, the overseas visitors increased every years; as the table shows, most of the visitors to Australia came from Japan.

People travel in summer for vacation, for business. They use exchange currency companies to change currency. Some people suggest if there is global currency it will make it easier; my opinion is, yes it is a good idea and it would help a lot in many ways. In this essay I will write why I agree with this idea; is it going to affect other countries; what are the bad thing that are going to affect people.

Currency is money but it is different from one country to another; there are different prices, ratings and even shapes. The reasons why I agree with this idea is the prices will be similar which means it will not change from one country to another. Nowadays when people travel they find big differences in price which can ruin some people’s plans. Even in business between some countries, it will have an because of the currency, prices and rates. It makes life harder in that section.

A single currency is something which may unite some countries financially. This may help the economy to grow a good way. The bad effect is the arguments that may happen because of rates and the name of the currency and where the headquarters should be. A global currency may affect rich countries and poor countries; poor countries will get money and it will help them; rich countries will lose money to get a balance between all countries; so this has a huge effect in all countries.

In the end we all may still argue about it but in the end if all countries discuss decide it will unite the world in a good way

Communication Technology

 This world has been in throw a lot of changes on the many aspects especially in the past few years. The major changes have affected the way work is carried out, the lives of individuals. Some of this changes and developments have been witnessed in business, chemical engineering, aviations, civil engineering, highway maintenance, food inspection, communication technology, health and medicine. Even though there are a lot of changes but the most effected changes that have happen in the technology sector which cuts through other industries.

        Communication technology industry has been evolving in a rapid speed for the last five years. The use of touch screens has increased the use of the mobile phone as a utility asset it has been used in current technologies like the new smart phones. To illustrate, the IPhone has changed the way of communication around the world by making the connection between people much easier than the old days. The iPhone has great software that can operate many communication programs and websites such as Facebook, Twitter and Skype. Smart phones have become one of the most used electronic devices because of the great communication programs that the smart phones offer and because of its new technology which is the touch screen. In addition, Phones are then linked some features that meet the diverse needs of customers this features include: computer features, web cabs, infra reds, blue-tooth, direct links to social medias. Most of the countries are able to use new, ultra fast and low latency optical fibres these are example of better, higher speed routers that are used to manage high bandwidth, business and individuals are able to enjoy high speed internets with greater improvements in time. Moreover, there are many innovations and developments are still happening in the communication technology fields which can be clearly seen in new phones markets. Therefore, phone companies having right now a competition to satisfy the highly distinctive customer needs and preferences.

        This life been through many changes and developments in many fields as well in the higher capacity communication infrastructures .Also, it increased mass production due to advanced technology. The use of social links like Skype has facilitated communication technology, working with by high set mobile phones and high definitions screens with high speed data exchanges individuals can discuss, speak and even communicate one to one with the chance of face to face talks, this combine innovation has been a key factor in the media industry where reporters and news anchors are able to transmit live happenings, it has also helped families who are separated to communicate to each other. In support this was the best innovation in communication world where one does not require more specialised equipments, and is affordable to the users (Earl, 1999).

           Development technology in business is shaped by rapid changes that have occurred due to the usage of computer. The last five years there have been remarkable increase in use of chat lines and social Medias which have shaped how the business is run and managed, the current developments have made businessmen and businesswomen to be able to market their products, assess feedbacks from customers, and get information’s by chat lines within the shortest time period as possible. An internet shopping mall in social websites have a lot of shops under one roof which creates a pleasant shopping atmosphere, this is created with a standard search engine that can be used to find any internet site and includes e-shops, this e-shops come in all shapes and sizes, they offer a range of products and services including online ordering and payments. The sites also have become the areas of online information’s where a potential online shopper know what sort of outfit the e-shop represents. The information can include a company profile, summaries of annual reports, and messages from the directors (Benjamin, 1990).

           Businesses are also enjoying the current instant methods of payments which are seen as a key development issue in the business sector. For example the use of wire transfer, mobile money and direct payment methods it does facilitate any kind of payments to be done instantly from different countries. Companies and financial institutions are linked by an external extranet that make them easily check each parties details. There are times when the bank customers want to know the bank balance or make an urgent payments and visiting branch is not convenient. Online banking by phone and intranets allows customers to check their balance or pay a bill at any time of the day or night. This feature made the life easier and simpler for the bank customers, so they will not need to go to the bank in order to do any bank transactions. The bank also seems to be happy to let user’s mix internet banking, online money transfer to and from any account that does provide electronic funds transfer. The innovation has helped to build and maintain good relationship between owners, customers and suppliers (Computer world, 2010).

        In conclusion, a number of such innovations and development has helped to shape the lives of individuals and firms in their respective sectors. It is continuing to make revolutions in the world. Each development in communication or computer technology has presented new opportunities for business and individuals that took many years to be fully evaluated and adopted. Taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the new technology requires imaginations and flair. The use of new internet social Medias links can have far reaching effects for the company or organization that use it and for the way it performs its operations.

Task #1

This table provides information regarding the sales at a small restaurant in a downtown American business district. Also the table shows the sales of lunch and dinner between October 7 to October 13.

     Looking at the total produced money, it can be noted that dinner on Fridays is the highest with over $4,350. Next comes also the dinner on Tuesday followed by the dinner on Thursday then the dinner on Monday. To clarify the sales were $3,850, $3,800 and $3,623 respectively.

     Let’s now consider what the sales were at lunch in that week. It can be noted the lunch on Wednesday was the highest point in lunch sales with $2,595. In contract, the sales of the lunch at the weekend were the lowest with $1,950 followed by the dinner on Saturday with $2,900.

     To sum up, generally speaking the overall picture indicates that sales at the weekend were lowest and the sales at lunch were less than dinner in that week.

Task #4

       Nowadays is easier to teach the children than in the past, because the education has been changed a lot from what it was thousands of years ago. As we see in the history of the education, we will find which students were competing with each other. However, there are many activities in the schools to know who the best is. Some people think cooperation is better than competition while others think the other way. In my opinion, these terms are two aspects of the same object so they always go together and we can’t split them apart.

        The people are different from each other; maybe they are similar in the shape but not in qualities. The completion is another way to make people and society become better.

In order  to achieve  a good position among  people. Everyone must study and it does not only help himself but also the whole society. The ability is taught to children to help them prepare for a competitive society when they become adults.

If we want to complete the cycle of life each person must cooperate with each other and we must teach that to our children, because we can get from that new ideas and we can share the ideas and understand each other and work as a team.

In conclusion, Co-operate and competition are two aspects of the same subject and they can’t be separated.

Task #3

                Nowadays the diseases abound because we are using the technology for everything and everywhere; for example the car is good transportation but if we are using it all the time we will get back pain. But the people are having problems with being overweight and most of them think that the only way to get a healthy life is to follow a diet. I disagree with this idea, and I will explain my reason in the this essay.

The reason why I disagree with idea is being overweight was caused by some mental problems; feeling sad or having problems in life may let you become overweight; some people escape problems in life by eating order to. As I wrote the technology can affect our life. So why don’t we use it in the right way; for example using it to do exercises, only 1 hour per day can save your life. You need to change the way you live and fix your life problems, you cant lose weight by having a diet only. Also smoking affects health. A good mind always leads to a health life.

In the end, having a diet isn’t the only way to have a healthy good life; there are steps toy have to do before heading to the diets; the first thing must be the mentality of the person, the healthy life depends on the daily exercises and eating balanced meals at the same time.

Task #2

     Two figures are shown. The first chart provides information regarding the reason for study among students of different age groups in UK. The second chart is about the amount of support they recived from employers.

   Firstly, there are two reason to motivate the student, younger students study to improve their career  prospects,  for example for those under 26, the percentage is 80; also we can see in the chart for those aged between 26 and  29 the figure is 70%. The exception is the age group between 40 to 49, which is the same for cases and for interest which is 40%. 

     Secondly, the students who are under 26 received most support from employers, over 60%. Then foe those aged 26 – 29 the figure is 50%. The lowest support is for those aged 30-39 around 35%. After that the students who are in there 40 s are 39% but for those over 49 its 45%.

      In the end, as we notice, students under 26 are studying for their career while students over 49 studies for interest but the employer support for students who are (under 26) is more than for other groups.
